Q:   Will there be a TV for football coverage?
A:   Yes, football fans, we have you covered!  We will have two, 60 inch TV's for your viewing pleasure.  One will be in the main Festival building and the other will be in a nearby private building (right by the public restrooms).  This building will be the "Football Suite," and will have full sound so you can focus on the game and hear it.  Unfortunately, this building can not be included in our liquor license.  Feel free to walk to the Festival pavillion during commercials to quench your thirst. This building is heated as well. 

Q:   Do you allow pets?
A:   We love our pets too, but due to the food and beverage on site, we can not host your pet.

Q:   Is there going to be ice skating?
A:    Yes, there is a real ice rink in downtown Estes Park, across from Bond Park in the Dairy Queen Parking lot.  The Estes Park Winter Festival is hosting free ice skating at the Block Party on Monday from 11 am - 5 pm.

Q:   Is the building heated?
A:    Yes, the building is indoors and heated. 
 

Q:   Are there bathrooms?
A:    Yes, there are upscale full service bathrooms with running water and heat!  

Q:   What is the cost of entry?
A:    Age 0-3 years: Free
       Age 4-9 years: $5 Admission
            (Includes ALL activities except pony rides. Pony rides are $5.00)
       Age 10 - Adult: $10 Admission
            (Includes ALL activities except pony rides. Pony rides are $5.00)

All you can taste beer & wine: Additional $30 includes beer/wine tasting from a commemorative keepsake tasting glass.

Cash or credit accepted.

There is no "free" entrance into the festival unless you sign up for a volunteer shift.  See "Get Involved" tab.  It's a real deal!

Q:   Do you accept checks?
A:    Sorry, we can not accept checks. We do accept cash or credit cards.

Q:   Can I take my wine or beer glass outside and enjoy the other activities?
A:   Yes!  You can take your food or drink anywhere within the large gated area of the Festival.  Walk around and enjoy!

Q:   I hear CASI sanctioned chili cook off is going to be there!  Is that true?
A:   Yes, if you would like to cook on site and compete with CASI you can!  Many prizes to be won with this division.

Q:   I am interested in competing with chili but I prefer not to cook on site.  Does this option exist?
A:   Yes, you can cook from home and drop off your chili.  Feel free to promote your business, association or non profit. It's a great marketing opportunity. Or you can drop off your chili and the Festival volunteers will serve it for you.

Q:   I don't have a 4 gallon pot to cook my chili or mac 'n cheese in.  What can I do?
A:    We have over100, 6 gallon pots with lids that you can borrow for the Festival.  Email info@EstesParkWinterFestival  or call Estes Park Condos at 970-577-0068 to arrange pick-up.  Address is 1400 David Dr.  Borrow as many pots as you want to fill with "good eats!"

Q:   How do we taste the chili?
A:    We have ordered over 150,000 Tostitos Scoops from Frito Lay corporate!  We also have paper tasting cups for anyone with allergies.  

Q:   Are there things to do for families and couples?
A:    Yes, the Festival focuses on having fun things to see and do for all ages, --all included in the entry fee.  The only exception is the $5 pony rides.  Snowzilla Toboggan ride, huge "live" interactive snow globe, interactive ice sculptures, face painting, balloon artists and so much more!

Q:   Are there other activities going on around Estes Park?
A:    Yes, there is a Town scavenger hunt with fabulous prizes.  Estes Park always has lots of winter activities no matter what weekend.....Cross country skiing, hiking, sledding, relaxing spas, exquisite dining, cool shops, indoor rock climbing, fishing, downtown art walk, and SO much more!  

Q:   What activities are extra outside of the $10 entry and $30 wine/beer tasting?
A:   Everything at the Festival is all inclusive of the entry gate price except for the $5 pony rides. We have added even more fun activities to partake in this year, all for free after the entry fee.  Massive toboggan run, huge "live" snow globe with pictures you can take home, face painting, balloon artists and cookie decororating.

Q:   Is there going to be a petting zoo?
A:    Yes, including a camel!  

Q:   Is there good cell phone coverage?
A:    Verizon, AT&T and the T-Mobile work the best. We will have a FREE "cell phone charging station" at the Festival.

Q:   Will there be wifi?
A:    Yes, there will be free wifi for the event, sponsored by Estes Park Winter Festival.

Q:   What is going on Friday night?
A:    Friday night is the Ceilidh Barn Dance.  It's in the same location as the Sat. and Sun. Festival (Fairgrounds at Stanley Park).  Be entertained with fun and upbeat folk and Irish music led by a professional Caller who helps you learn the steps effortlessly. Professional dancers will be there to entertain you as well.  This is a FREE-entry event which includes s'mores.  Cash bar available.

Q:   What is going on Monday?
A:    Monday is the Downtown Block Party at the Dairy Queen Parking Lot across from Bond Park.  Activities include free ice skaiting (sponsored by Estes Park Winter Festival), face painting, ballloon artists, petting zoo and pony rides ($5) and a nut roaster.   Monday is also the day we celebrate all there is to do in Estes Park in the Winter:  Ice skating, hiking, spa, dine, shop, movies, art gallery walk, snowshoe, cross country ski, sled and so much more.  Also, Monday is "fee free day" in Rocky Mountain National Park.
